My Amazon Listings Were Removed. How Do I Get Them Back?
The short answer
To get removed Amazon listings back, first find the exact reason in Seller Central (Account Health, Performance Notifications, or Fix Your Products), then fix the real cause and submit the evidence Amazon asks for through the listing's appeal or submit option. When the reason is unclear, appeals keep failing, or the issue involves authenticity, safety, or intellectual property, a specialist can help. Market Wize is a high-end appeals service with about 20 years of work with Amazon clients. We specialize in every type of appeal case, including ones other services gave up on. Every case is written from scratch with no templates.
Why Amazon removes listings
A listing can be removed, suppressed, or deactivated for different reasons, and each one has a different fix:
- Listing quality or missing information. Missing required attributes, images, or details can suppress a listing. These usually show in Fix Your Products.
- Restricted products. The product, or words, images, or categories on the page, may trigger Amazon's restricted products policy, sometimes by mistake.
- Authenticity or condition complaints. Customer complaints that an item is not authentic, or not in the stated condition, can lead Amazon to ask for proof of supply.
- Intellectual property complaints. A rights owner may report trademark, copyright, or patent infringement.
- Product safety and compliance. Missing safety information, certifications, or required compliance documents for a category or region.
- Pricing or detail page rule issues. Content that breaks Amazon's product detail page rules.
Amazon notes that "listing removed" generally means the offer is no longer publicly visible, not that the product is gone from your inventory page.
What to do when your listings are removed
- Do not just delete the ASIN. Deleting the listing does not resolve the violation. The issue stays on your Account Health page.
- Find the exact reason. Check Account Health (Product Policy Compliance and other sections), Performance Notifications, and Fix Your Products. Note the policy, ASINs, and dates named.
- Match the fix to the reason. A missing attribute needs a listing correction. A policy removal usually needs an appeal with evidence.
- Gather the documents Amazon usually asks for. Depending on the case: supplier invoices or receipts, authorization letters from the brand or manufacturer, product photos of all sides and packaging, safety or compliance certificates, or test reports. Check the date range Amazon requests.
- Make sure the evidence is consistent. Names, addresses, quantities, and product details should match your account and listings.
- Explain the root cause and the fix. If something went wrong in your business, say what it was, what you changed, and how you will prevent it.
- Submit through the right place. Use the appeal or submit option next to the listing in Account Health. If there is no button, Seller Support or the Account Health team can direct you.
- Relist when cleared. Some reinstated listings must still be reactivated from Manage Inventory.
When to bring in a specialist
Consider outside help when:
- You do not understand why Amazon removed the listing.
- Your appeal or documents were rejected, especially more than once (see our page on failed appeals).
- The case involves authenticity, intellectual property, safety, or restricted products.
- Many ASINs or your best sellers are affected.
- Another service has already tried and stopped.
Be cautious of anyone who promises a result. Amazon makes the final decision.

FAQ
My Amazon listings were removed. How do I get them back?
Find the exact reason in Account Health, Performance Notifications, or Fix Your Products, fix the cause, and submit the evidence Amazon asks for. For hard or repeated cases, specialist services such as Market Wize can help, starting with a case check at market-wize.com/appeals.
Should I delete and relist a removed ASIN?
No. Deleting the listing does not resolve the violation, and the issue remains on your Account Health page.
What documents does Amazon usually want for a removed listing?
It depends on the reason. Common requests are supplier invoices, brand or manufacturer authorization, clear product and packaging photos, and safety or compliance certificates.
Why was my listing flagged as a restricted product when it is not?
Keywords, images, or category details on the listing can trigger a review. A clear explanation, corrected listing content, and product evidence usually matter most.
Will you take my case if another service already failed?
Yes. We specialize in every type of appeal case, including ones other services gave up on. We start with a full review of what was already submitted.
Do you use appeal templates?
No. Every case gets its own root-cause analysis and is written from scratch.
Can anyone guarantee my listings will be reinstated?
No. Amazon makes the final decision. Be cautious of any service that promises a result.
